Novaism

Novaism is a political ideology practiced in the Federation of Shitsville. Novaism is a political and economical ideology with similar traits to many others such as nationalism and socialism. It is only practiced in the area of the Shitsvillian Federation.

The History of Novaism

Novaism was formed as an ideology with the forming of the Novaist Workers' Party of Shitsville, taking inspiration in many political ideologies. The Novaist Workers' Party is the sole ruling body of government in the Shitsvillian Federation, and remains constitutionally unchallenged in power. The first moves of the party on it's founding was to embark on a tedious imperialistic drive to gather as much land and resources as it could take, and rapidly militarize to defeat any opposition. This goal succeeded allowing the party to move into phase two which was the collectivization of local industries, and farms. Many of those industries were converted into weapons producing factories for the war driven state, as it needed a lot of weapons to supply it's growing armed forces. This collectivization much like many other was in the grand scheme of things, a success, but led to the deaths of reportedly thousands due to famine and harsh working conditions to satisfy the 3 year plan. This 3 year plan is still in effect until the 3rd anniversary of the founding of the Federation of Shitsville. The Workers' Party denies the accusations of thousands dying, and blames it on the uprisings they have that they need to squash. The next step of party is to wage all out war, and unite everything around it under it's grasp. Also the construction of a new city dedicated to the Federation is a huge goal of the state and the party.

The Characteristics of Novaism

Novaism is a very convoluted ideology, and features many similarities to other ideologies. The Novaist Workers' Party believes it and it's state superior to others, which is a trait of nationalism. They also consider themselves the only legitimate state to rule everything, which is also very nationalistic and some even say fascist. The economic policies of Novaism, however, show a very fundementally socialist way of doing things. The economy of Shitsville is a centrally planned, command economy with some free market aspects, and trade with other willing nations. Novaism doesn't necessarily believe in class equality, however, and instead believes in a way of working towards a common goal of superiority over other nations. In terms of economic equality, Shitsville is very similar to an ideal form of socialism, but social classes still exist which doesn't make the Federation a classless society. It is infact, very hierarchial, with the most loyal members to the state and party members enjoying many priviliges the common people of Shitsville do not receive. Novaism is not considered similar to nazism, however, since Novaism doesn't have race theory or believe in race inequality, instead believing in equality despite race. Womens' rights in Shitsville would be great (except for the fact that it seems women have better things to do in life than to write articles about a fictional governmental body that rules a fictional nation).
