Realmcity Coup
The Realmcity coup was an attempt by many groups in Shitsville to seize power of the city of Realmcity, and cause a further revolution. No one knows exactly who was leading, as the insurgent uprising was comprised of different militant groups fighting for a common goal. Some of the major groups were the Communist People's Army, Federal-Nationalist militant group, and some parts of the Shitsvillian Armed Forces.
General Order of Events
It is not exactly known what group started it, but a group of armed militants started shelling an area mostly consisting of some government offices. The shelling began at approximately 01:00 10.4.2025. and lasted for a few minutes decimating the small area. This sent other militant groups into a frenzy, mobilizing their reserves of insurgents, and taking the regional governmental building. The Shitsvillian Federal Government was sent into panic mobilizing nearby reserves from the 23rd Mechanized Infantry Division to go crush the revolt. The militant groups grouped together, and set up defense in the decimated buildings, and barricaded streets to block the way of the approaching troops. Fierce fighting ensued, and surprisingly, many civilians joined in to form militias. In the end, the 23rd Mechanized Infantry Division overpowered the defender, and stormed the regional government building of Realmcity. The fighting ended sometime on 17.4.2025. and the event was covered up rather efficiently by the authorities.
Controversies
The 23rd Mechanized Infantry Division entered the city 11.4.2025. and immidiately began to use harsh force against the revolting militia, and insurgents. Some civilians reported seeing soldiers of the Shitsvillian Armed Forces taking tens of hostages, and executing them on the basis of them being associated to the coup. No one knows for sure if they were, and no one knows exactly what events took place during the crushing of the coup. Only one picture has emerged that the authorities haven't managed to destroy.
